With the birth of my third child (and first daughter), I have been so excited to decorate with all things girl!! Girls have the cutest accessories and I am so lucky to finally have a daughter of my own! With all of the cute things I have been buying for her, I quickly discovered that I am going to need an equally adorable way to store everything!
So here is a very cute mason jar headband holder that I am going to pair with this amazing DIY bow organizer! The colors and details can be fully customized to your style, so grab some a jar and some paint and make something cute!!
Here is what you will need for your Mason Jar Headband Holder:
Mason jar lid light (optional)
Paint in your choice of colors (keep in mind that it will need to be transparent if you want to shine a light through it.)
Here is How to Make your Mason Jar Headband Holder:
Start by painting your mason jar whatever color you would like. I planned on making mine transparent so a light could shine though it. To do this with acrylic paint, simply mix any color with some gloss medium. (Or simply use transparent paint.)
Paint the entire jar and allow it to dry. Once mine was dry, I dabbed on some gold glitter paint and added some pink chalk paint accents to give it some extra texture.
If the letter you bought is not the color you want it be, paint it. I painted my “E” with pink chalk paint.
Next, I glued my initial and a pink flower to the top of the jar, using hot glue. I think the flower made the whole mason jar headband holder come together.
For a little extra sparkle, add a mason jar light to the bottom of your jar. Not only will it be a headband holder, but now it can double as a fancy nightlight!
The best part of this is easy project is that you can use whatever colors you want. I’ve been loving the pink and gold trend, so I went with that.
